Evanston NSP2 Yard Signs
As part of the Federal government Stimulus program, the City of Evanston applied for $40.6 million to purchase, rehab and reoccupy foreclosed and abandoned properties in two adversely affected areas in the city. This grant application was the largest application ever developed for the City and resulted in the rewarding of $18.15 million from the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). Duties in this project included the coordination of materials, crafting strategy and argument language for the application, coordination of the application document and the generation of graphics and maps to support the City’s application to HUD. As the project progresses in the City I have been responsible to oversee any new development resulting from this project, ensuring our development partner provides the appropriate documentation and consulting on any zoning issues that might arise during the development process of the project.
