Urban Planner/Designer, specializing in Transit Development, Urban Regeneration, and Brownfield Redevelopments.

Like any good storyteller, I see the big picture— I know the context and have the foresight of where the story is going. As a leader in the Calgary Region in urban design and planning, storytelling plays a big role on any project I take on. I use stories from the community, clients, and stakeholders to help shape how a project is designed and to help tell the story to all those involved.

Using site and stakeholder context, best-planning practices, and innovative thought, I am ensuring that the history of sites is spoken while looking to the future in certainty. Whether it’s designing a new inner-city community from a 100-year-old Ford manufacturing plant or managing the development process of a new, high-density, mixed-use community rising from an old army base, I incorporate elements of the past, that mixes with the future land development to realize a legacy for the communities I work in.

Outside of work, I volunteer my time to the board of directors for the Urban Land Institute Alberta District Council and for Calgary Pride as Director of Government Affairs, helping tell the stories of the communities that I serve.
